About the Responsible Subversives Network

Watch this first!

The Responsible Subversives network consists of three inter-linked sites that aim to provide the ideas, the inspiration and a community of people interested in equipping future generations to shape a better world.

Our network has grown out of the work of the 21st Century Learning Initiative, a research organisation which for the past thirty years has been mapping developments and synthesizing research into how we learn. The Initiative was the brainchild of John Abbott who continues to spearhead our activities.

As our work has evolved, so has our online presence. Our archive prompted us to turn our ideas into inspirational animations which sit on our Born to Learn site. Hundreds of thousands of downloads later and with a lot of interest on our Facebook page, we have created the final piece in the jigsaw, a community for all those who want to help equip future generations to shape a better world.

Our three areas of activity represent our newly formed Responsible Subversives Network. We hope you like what you see and are as excited as we are about what we can achieve together for future generations.

The ideas

The 21 Century Learning Initiative website is an archive of material selected from the past 30 years broken down into meaningful chronological eras as well as sorted by tag and category.

Inspiration

We are constantly looking to share the ideas of the 21st Century Learning Initiative archive in ever-more accessible ways. To see the animations we have produced, take a look at our inspirational animations on our Born to Learn site.

Our Responsible Subversives community

We also have a growing community of Responsible Subversives, a place for people who want to connect and discuss how to change the world by changing the way we raise our children. Please join in in the discussion.
